I've had this issue since the latest update. Smartwatch app and apps like YouTube background play or anything from the browser in background play. My music player doesn't get closed though. I wonder what's different with that (PowerAmp).

Looking at the official BS2 forums the closing of background apps regardless of the power saving options is a new bug since I am also affected. My Galaxy watch keeps getting disconnected probably due to the accessory service being closed and any background music or video app gets closed as well.

Yea I do. After I installed it my bluetooth devices keep disconnecting regulary. If I don't restart the phone I can't even connect some of my devices like my headphones because it rapidly connects and disconnects. My Galaxy watch also gets disconnected randomly. Besides from that not really...

I have noticed that SmartLock isn't working anymore and I can't add new devices anymore. The menu also is very limited as I can only choose BT devices but not trusted places. And since the fingerprint reader is so unrealiable it's tedious to unlock the phone every time. Anyone has the same issue?

Open the music app on the watch and tap the 3 dot menu. You can swipe up and down to choose the players that the watch recognises.

In the music app of the watch you can choose the player to control. Does the YouTube app appear there? My YouTube Vanced appears there.

We should just straight tell them that we'll return the device because we intend to root it and that we are aware of warranty voids and agree with this

Is the notification thingy fixed in this? The side LEDs only light up for a brief moment when notifications are received in standby :(

I can confirm that behavior and also the solution. Had that once as well.

I also only get the brief notification instead of permanent. Global version here. Edit: I tried other modes but it only lights up and then it's gone again.

Well it's physically not possible for wireless charging to work with a metal case. Same with NFC. Although I prefer the sturdy metal casing over wireless charging but that is just my opinion.

Because the phone has a metal in its case. Same reason why it has no wireless charging

Happens to me too. I am using WallpaperChanger with the library on my SDCard and it takes a while after reboot to be able to load them.

So the ta files are some regional settings?

Just followed the advice of FartyParty :< Last time I flashed everything (except userdata.sin) the encryption of the phone broke and I had to factory reset. I don't really want to do that every time I flash a small OTA update.

Ah okay. So I simply only put system.sin into the folder with the newsflasher exe and execute it? Also last time I did that, the phone encryption broke. Can I somehow "unencrypt" android?

So there is a small OTA update out. Do I have to use newsflasher all the time now or is there a more convinient way for OTA updates?

It would've worked but my phone was encrypted and there was no prompt to ever enter it...so now the OS is damaged and I had to factory reset =_= Luckily I did a titanium backup before AND saved my Fate Go ID (like super important xD) Should've used a bible as the folder had so many huge sins in...

Hm it's not really clear if the "repair device" step will factory reset my phone. Does it? >_<
