    Its from the router. I had the same problem. In my hometown, no problem with wifi. In the town that I study, it reconnect every 5-10 minutes. Turns out it was the security. I set it to WPA2 from the router and no reconnects since. Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium

    9 hour overnight I loose between 5-6% with wi-fi on. I tested wifi off for approximately 6 hours, lost 1%. (From 100 to 99) Guess if it's on airplane mode it won't loose anything at all. Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
