Hiya I got a tmobile l90 d415 Its software is on d41520c 5.0.2 an so far its rooted but i think i need to unlock the bootloader an maybe install a custom rom. Im just not sure about which process to unlock my bootloader. Thank you everyone on xda for supporting this cool phone! :)

It's on lolipop and I don't see much information on it. I tried kingroot but that doesn't work and I was looking at the root method involving Odin and cfroot. Should I try that?

I used a s4mini Verizon for a little bit on att. It would only get H+. You sure it's not locked away?

It's just a way to keep you from rooting then sending it in to the manufacturer for warranty repairs ect. Kingroot didn't work? Also like hammerhead said triangle away works great to take away the "custom" unlock symbol at boot. Also some shops and buyers won't want it after that symbol starts...

Only the L520 will work on Sprint. The l520 has a few roms but they're not 100%. Also I think the gt is a GSM phone It will not work on Sprint. I suggest if your going to use Sprint. Find a different phone. Also if you still want one don't get a prepaid one it may not work on a postpaid.

Their phone service is voip so data needs to be on all the time unless you pay for premium calling. During the errors most of the time I'm not doing anything with the phone. (Other than having data on) It just happens when my phones signal switches from 4g to 3g. It does it while sitting still...

Thank you for the help joker but i tried that aswell. That's what i meant when i said i tried the ## activation thing. Sorry for my lazy vocab I'm in sad panda mode and I'm pretty sure this phone is pooped most likely messed up by the freedompoop flunky who puts the devices roms on the phone..

Updating profile and prl doesn't fix it.. I've tried that many times using the ## thing that does the activation process and a factory reset a few times. It didn't seem to fix it. Im a sad panda. :(

Someone showed me the thread with the 12.1 cm rom and the .img for the recovery is it okay if I use flashify to put the recovery on my phone instead of using odin after rooting? Or does someone have a .tar recovery for the L520 in a drop box somewhere? :) also do I need to update my firmware...

I believe dirty flashing is where you don't wipe everything on the phone before a rom flash.

Um once I root with odin can I use flashify to flash the recovery from the 12.1 thread? I don't know how to convert a .img to a tar to get it working in odin. I don't want to experiment with my phone please someone stop me if this will mess it up.

Hm to get back to stock i just flash nj2 again or can I go back to stock? I live in the middle of nowhere so I need both 3g and 4g..

My carrier is Freedompop I flashed the most recent with gapps and the freedom pop apn fix. 4glte works fine but 3g doesn't work. It just goes from 4glte to no connection instead of 3g.

Hmm I'm not getting 3g is that normal?

Update to nj2 and flash a recovery with Odin then boot to recovery and flash the ROM with gapps and/or any apn fixes.
