HTC PICO(EXPLORER) has 3.0 kernel( they had 2.X kernel initially ) , they had the similar problems ..after they made it atleast bootable and usb detectable they found ways to get rid of the bugs one by one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1959526

bored with tons of AOSP roms... recently got a nexus in trade of tab 2..i actually thought this phone might have different roms..but all this phone has is AOSP ...lewa os (incomplete)...htc sense port(incomplete) even my NEO V has a fully functional HTC SENSE port...any other recommendations ...
