Question: is possible to install any app to manage kernel parameters?

Ciao arcatarc, do you think is possible to port 1 fantastic and usefull feature from EMUI 3.1? I'm talking about of one-handed UI mode: it reduce not only keyboard but the entire screen in a (I suppose) 3,5" experience. I'll appreciate if you will want to take a look on it. Thanks.

Hi all, I've no issues with this new version except ones. Also your devices delete Email Accounts when switching off UPSM? It's very important for me.

I started from v2.0, after 2.5 and now 3.0 with 3.1 addon. Everytime with a clean installation, only the last upgrade was performed without cleaning cache because too many apps, too many setting and not to much time to prepare it. But I think is not related because I read here about other...

In 2.5 I didn't have any music or video lags. In 3.1 I have both. Also Wifi connection sometimes collapse, less then 2.5 but sometimes still have this problem.

Yes rooted stock. Until someone do something about it, i created a profile with Tasker to hang up when shaking tbe phone... (simple workaround).

I explain better, i thought the problem was rooting and in part was: in the first reboot after rooting avast asked root permission for its firewall and the tethering goes down immediatly before i could test. So the problem is avast but only with root access (needed for firewall). I'll try your...

Finally (after tens of attempts) i understood: the smoked gun is in the right hand of avast (its firewall), even using white list method and (obviusly) not blocking any system app. :eek: Is this a notorius fact?

I WAS WRONG! Now i controlled every step and the guilty is the rooting procedure: flashing stock rom -> ok flashing rootkit -> ko nothing else in the middle. How it's possible this is a only mine problem? :confused:

Solved! re-flashed stock rom, re-rooted, re-debloated (this time keeping Allshare apps ;) ). What a mess...

I know this is the most secure way but not the fastest ;) flash, root, remove (and i don't know if every set and every data stay in its own place). So if someone can spend 2 minutes for me i'll be very graceful :angel:
