Hello,
I have to use Lookout for work, because of company policy and gcam gets detected as riskware.
Is there a version that doesn't get detected as riskware?
nhappymann didn´t post a new gcam in the group, so I guess it´s still the one from my first post:

Modules for Magisk 18+:
Don´t know about the changelog.
Use Gcam from this post:

or Arnova's v8.3b1...
Here is the last version of GCam and RN5 Camera Patch from Telegram group (30. October 2018):

Special GCam by SerJo87 and settings by nhappymann...
Ok, I just installed LOS 15.1, Magisk 18.0.0, Camera2api Enabler Module and Arnovas Gcam.
It´s working, but I´m still confused if this was the most up-to-date method and what all this fuss about fix patches is about?
I don´t know if it´s the Kernel or something else, but sometimes my phone doesn´t charge when connected to charger.
The green notfication LED is on, so there is a connection, but there is no thunder on the battery icon in the statusbar and no text on the lockscreen ("the phone is charging fast"...
I´m using the "Turn on Wi-Fi automatically" feature and it´s working great with turning on.
But when I leave the Wi-Fi area, Wi-Fi doesn´t get deactivated automatically, it just stays on with the questionmark symbol and I have to manually turn it off.
Is that normal or a bug?
The feature would...
SerJo removed test4d link in 4pda, because there was a bug.
Wait for fix.
But I would also be interested, its the best GCam for mido.
Super stable and very good photos, especially in low light.

Slow motion MIUI cam: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76609433&postcount=333
For flashable zips, try the ones from the OP, but make a backup with TWRP before you flash them.
For best GCam, try the one posted above your post or try latest Arnova's (currently v7.9.9)...
Hi Zile995,
I´m using this cam for a while now with a Samsung sensor and it works very well and is very stable.
Is there anything new you could recommend or share your settings?
I tried Arnova's v7.9.7, but it is very unstable at default settings on my RN4 with LOS 15.1.
This are the two Magisk modules I use and which work with LOS 15.1.
I use this GCam: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76520030&postcount=2291
The second module with s5k3l8 is optional and only for camera with Samsung sensor.
Works :good:

It did work for me, checked the videos with Mediainfo.
It stopped working without me changing anything on a system level.

This is not the module form your Magisk Manager screenshot.
These are the same files that I posted, just in one pack and should also work on LOS 15.1
Edit:
I have absolutely no clue why, but it stopped working again.
I get only stable 30fps again.
Doesn't work
Finally got it working! :D:D:D
So to get 1080p/60fps/HEVC videos in GCam on Lineage OS 15.1 (treble):
Install all attached Magisk Modules (Source)
Disable "Video stabilization" in GCam Video Settings
Enable "camcorder.h265" in GCam Developer Settings
I don´t know why...
I installed all of them and get 50fps video and AVC codec. lol
I don´t know anymore.
Guess I have to wait until someone on 4pda figures out what causes the crash on the magisk module you posted first that should work on LOS 15.1.
Can you share the treble and nontreble magisk modules from here:
https://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?s=&showtopic=833225&view=findpost&p=72042322
I want to try to install them both at the same time like FaXiR suggests, perhaps this works.
This is so strange, when I look at the files, the path for etc folder is wrong for our rom.
I wonder why it works for you anyway.

I compared your Mido_60fps_treble_magisk.zip to Magisk_Oreo(treble).zip from OP and there is one file less in your pack...
On my Rom I have the libs in the same playces like in the Mido_60fps_treble_magisk.zip you posted.
What else can I try?
Can you post links to those?
I want to compare lib-places.
Can you perhaps modify the module, so that it installs the libs to all possible places?
Like they did here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/port-aptx-aptxhd-oreo-8-0-update-jan-t3731151
Camera2api is enabled/Gcam working fine without the module.
Other modules I have installed: Greenify, iOS Emojis, YT Vanced.
I have Franco Kernel r6 installed, could this be the problem?
Nothing else flashed.
Has anybody weather in cLock Widget working properly?
I found LOS 15.1 ports here: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=243785
But I only get a questionmark on homescreen:
It is treble, but you can install it with non treble TWRP, because the installer script does all the proper wiping.
But you need treble TWRP for Magisk.
There is ne need for this, since the dev provides 16.4 custom in OP:
https://downloads.akhilnarang.me/LineageOS/mido/Magisk-vcustom.zip
Also if Magisk app doesn´t show up try to reboot first. Worked for me.
Installed via Magisk repo, I want YT Vanced as default app.
It´s set correctly in default app settings, but in Brave browser youtube videos always play in browser.
So much false information by senior users in this thread.
Please don´t play high and mighty when you are not 100% sure.
Here is what the dev said:
More confirmation that you don´t need treble TWRP:
More users confirmed too, that you do not need treble TWRP when going from 14.1 official to...
I just updated from official 14.1 using normal TWRP from here: https://dl.twrp.me/mido/
I just wiped the System partition like it was said here: https://www.lineageos.org/Changelog-16/
And then dirty flash.
Works fine.
Hello,
I have a Samsung sensor and use Arnova's v7beta9 camera on LineageOS 14.1 currently, it works really good.
I now want to record slowmotion and 60fps videos, how do I do it?
