If you want to remove encryption You have to format data from recovery once, loosing all internal storage data- not wipe- format. Then you are good to go.

I dirty flashed from official to Alexei's build with no wipes, no problems, plus all this as a primary rom on dualboot patcher so maybe you can dirty flash ;)
