Wow, your comments are really helpfull. I'm really glad Trip brought 4.2.1 to our HOX. He's 1 out of 2 who offers this new version as a ROM. If you're looking for a stable ROM with a camera and a clock, then I suggest you should stay with the standard HTC firmware. Then maybe you'll get 4.2.1...

Maybe the 2G/3G switching problem has some affinity with another "problem" I have. When the phone boots or is in flight mode, when booted or flight mode is disabled, I enter my PIN code for the SIM card. I remember that with my Galaxy Nexus my mobile signal was up and running within 2 seconds...

I tried to test this kernel on my IML74K AOPK build 9 ROM, if I execute fastboot boot gnex_oc_uv.img my screen is stuck on Google logo.. I'm now running Matrix 1.5 kernel and want to try this one but it will not succeed. Any ideas on this one?

Confirmed, reproduced also on my GN. Running build 9, matrix kernel with 1.35 OC. Although I find this not so interesting. I prefer static background lol. :)

Looks like this dvkk6 radio is the same as my xxkk6 radio, only region code differs. Even file size is exactly the same... Or am I wrong?

If you zip the APK, then the phone should be able to receive the file. Once downloaded open / extract using a file manager that supports zip files. Then run / install.

Hmmm having same problems as other users described, but then on a stock N1 (FRF91). Can't uninstall old client because of no root acces. When installing new client installation fails. Also after rebooting the phone.. What can I do?

That's my experience too, but when it comes to troubleshooting a problem, you cannot always think default.

Goto: Start --> Settings --> System --> A(ssisted) GPS Settings. Check wether AGPS is disabled. After that just to be sure, go to: Start --> Programs --> Navigation --> QuickGPS, and download the latest GPS info. Then try to get a GPS fix again. This worked for me yesterday!

Yes I tried several hard resets after the flash. My TP keeps hanging on the first boot screen. I managed to get the 1.90 WWE version on my TP so I'll stick to that version first. My TP is a Raph 100, originally Vodafone branded.

Go to: Start --> Settings --> Connections --> USB to PC, set the mode to active sync, and your TP will sync like before!

Maybe the ROM developer tries to spy on you, and therefore sends all your new text and e-mail messages to himself ;-)... Seriously: no auto weather download / other e-mail accounts checking / automatic windows update / stocks information / quickqps updating etc?

Borisku, I will try this tomorrow, thank you for your suggestion! The original ROM I used was the branded Vodafone NL ROM. I only installed .NET Compact Framework 3.5 on that one so I didn't understand this error message. I will post back the results tomorrow.

Please first check your connection settings. Did the auto connection setup start when you inserted the SIM card?

I have this same problem with 1.80.5, when you disable the PIN-code that you set for using the device (not the SIM-pin), the lock suddenly does work! Is there fix for this, so I can still use the PIN for my device?

I had the same problem after a faulty ROM from Vodafone NL, what I had to do is before I wanted to flash my ROM do a hard reset on my device (please back-up your personal data before doing this). After the hard reset, I could get a stable connection with activesync and flash my ROM
