Yes, but the question is "Is It a matter of android version? ". S5 Threads will have 4.4.2, so probably no issue, they haven't gone through 4.2.2 :(

Well, if someone sells you something which is still in warranty it MUST come with the sale receipe, so that if something goes wrong you can go and claim free repair (for build issues of course). What about the flash counter on the note 3? :(

Italy: Knox counter to 0x1 doesn't matter, It can't void warranty, unless of course you have flash counter other than 0 (But that's no news). For Italian users, my source was a repair center (telephone number 069882782). Hope this helped.
