Carrier unlocking but that should hopefully encourage the carrier to allow phone (bootloader) unlocking. It is the carrier that locks the bootloader.

The phone can be rooted and security policies can be (as with Exchange email clients) circumvented but if they physically check the phone, you may get fired. You are better off using your own phone.
