I'm running version 4.2 for s-off and the capacitive keys will randomly stop lighting up and when I open the tweaks app and change the backlight settings they will work temporarily but shut off after.

Yes I did do it twice and the same problems occurred I will run the s off from fastboot and get back to stock and give Verizon a call

The HTCdev unlock only requires the bootloader which I can run all day without the phone freezing. If controlbear doesnt require much time with the phone on I will give it a shot and hope for the best.

I would do this but the juopunutbear s-off technique requires the phone to be on for part of the process will I be able to do this with the high chance that my phone will freeze in the middle of the process?

My question is if I call into Verizon will they care that I upgraded with the leaked ruu and if so can I downgrade back to gb I know if I use the gb ruu it will say unable to downgrade to older version.

i finally found a solution if you update the host list in adfree android it causes the back button to not function properly. I reverted my host list and everything works great now! I ended up uninstalling adfree though cuz its nearly useless without host list updates

I am having this same issue I went back to completely stock and flashed tiamat 1.4.4 and it still does it! The issue occurs in both the stock browser and Dolphin HD it is extremely annoying!

If you are using clockworkmod ra that is why you need amon ra and then you can flash directly from fresh update otherwise just power down and boot into clockworkmod ra and install from SDcard
