NRG has moved on a while ago. even the last 9 months or so he kept on updating the ROM even though he had other devices, such as the HD2 or TP2. since he moved to an Android phone (July 2011) no more updates by NRG. IMHO NRG made the best WM Roms, and I didn't even bother checking if anyone...

You can also get there via the advanced config GUI that the chef cooks into the ROM start --> programs --> tools --> advanced config --> messaging

Well... it should be okay by now. I've also got the ref ROM installed, and after a day of: ~1 hour with GPS program ~30 minutes call time ~BT on all day (connected to car headset for ~2 hours, otherwise unpaired) battery dropped only to ~65% (8am-8pm). have you installed any battery consuming...

How long have you had the ROM installed for? Did you let it 'settle' for 3-4 days? 4 days sounds like a lot. best I've had so far was 2 days with very little use.

i don't know how to check which program it is. Did you look at the weather tab settings? it usually has an auto update turned on

1. most likely weather update 2. if not maybe quick gps 3. why not disable the data connections via DataController and enable it only when you need to.

GFX folder This looked nice so also wanted to install the LG Optimus Weather widget. I d/l the files but I need to install them to the S2U2 GFX folder. since chef cooks this in, i don't know where to find it. so my question is: Where is the S2U2 folder in NRG_GTX ROMs?

actually after i flash a ROM everything is in order (alphabetically at least ;)) using normal activesync (actually it's now windows mobile device centre). the fav contacts only gets messed up after a while (a day to a week)

1:40 is just about par for me on all ROMs to date. turning off the bootup animation will save a couple seconds more.

I've had similar problems, only with my FAV contacts and not quicklinks, been going on for a while, ever since my original post

Apr 29017 GTX Just upgraded last night from Mar 8 29007. So far everything good and stable. Previous problems I had with the 29007 did not surface here (text input issues). For those interested : up/down buttons don't work with volume (see hotfixes for solution) Great work chef!

I scanned the card using the tool colossus advised, and saw it was faulty. I then tried to format it several times (with the same program), but could not succeed. I'll try again tonight after I get back home with your suggestions.

Yes, I have GSM support. Matter of fact is that I can turn 3G off and do well for any time between a couple of hours to over a week until this bug decides to kick in.

And i was thinking that it's a bug with my phone/operator compatibility. good to know that this is turning into a real bug. I would much prefer to use the GSM mode as it's a major battery saver

I had the same issue with 29007_17.Jan_GTX I'll try the new rom

I noticed this when switching from 3g to GSM. GSM would work for varying time (over a week), but all of a sudden, although reception shows full, I can't place or receive calls. Changing back to 3g and reseting usually solved this.

Possible Bug in fav contacts? I installed the 28244 ROM I bumped into a bug i had with the 29007 - fav contacts would sync all wrong. The contact photo would be alright, but when pushing the photo for a call, I would get a totally different contact and number. anyone else encounter this?

I had too many weird stuff with the 29007 ROM. Favorite contacts tab for example got all my contacts mixed up somehow. I would press a photo, but it would dial another number. After a couple of times of removing and adding favorites again, it seems to have settled. In any case - can anyone pm...
