I have the Korean 320L and have tried everything to get 4G working but to no avail. Used Vodafone and EE sims with various Roms. Would be grateful if someone could advise.
True, I have an Iphone as my other device, I was just hoping there would be a bit more power to such a top specced Android phone than just for benchmarking and how fast you can open, close and swipe between home screens.
I was hoping to a technical explanation to what is clearly a problem with most high end Android devices, and I would hardly classify replies by two individuals as "everyone"...anyway not sure what rattled your cage.
I am sorry, but unless each device is made slightly different, then there is no way those games run 100% lag free...as this is not just an issue with HTC One, Its the same with my friends Xperia Z....simple games are simply not smooth.
It seems the higher the spec on theses phones, the more lag...
I simply would like to know just how many more cores do Android phones require to render basic games smoothly without lag?
It seems on paper, these devices will have enough power to virtually take off! yet my HTC One cannot handle a game like Cordy 2 or Granny Smith without stutter and lag.
Whats the point of all additional core processors on these phones when some games consistently stutter and lag, like Need For Speed Most Wanted and Beach Buggy Blitz? On a friends IPhone 5, all games run fast and smooth...Can anyone recommend a good combo for fast lag free performance of games...
Thanks for great explanation..so is this fixable and has it been done for the One X already? ( link if poss? ) Been thinking of taking it back due to issues of lag on lower specced games.
Am I missing something here, most games run badly on my x+, there is stuttering and lag in games like Rayman, Granny Smith, Oscura...and Need For Speed is terrible, for a so called super fast processor I am not too impressed.
What truly is a joke is how such a great screen indoors becomes a finger smudge stained slab of washed out mirror in direct sunlight...I have given up with these fancy screens and gone back to Galaxy R - SC LCD screen - guess why?? you can see the damn thing outside - woo woo
This is the third variation question on this subject posted on various sub forums to which no one has helped. Either all SGS3 owners are bats and therefore have no issue or they are live in England where sun is but a fantasy. Am I the only person who thinks the s3 is total garbage in sunlight...
Really? I am on Wanam Rom and cannot see the options...can you please advise which Rom for me to try so these options appear....I had them on F1 rom for GS2 it was under "extra settings" or something similar...but not in display.
Is it possible to implement Mdnie colour tuning in this kernel - with option to change screen to outdoor mode and gamma? I have seen this in a GS2 Rom, and makes a big difference when under direct sun.
I was lucky enough to use both the X and S for a week, and after comparing, I really could not understand the hype surrounding the speed on the X, games like Gunman Clive, Beans quest, Cordy Sky and Bang Bang racing all stuttered like hell. I have found the S much smoother and faster with games...
Has anybody installed and managed to run the game smoothly on their SGS2? If so please can you tell me what Rom/kernel you are using.
Its becoming an minor obsession to find out why all other games run great except Roboto, which is laggy as hell, no matter what Rom/Kernel/OC used.
Tried the...
I went to four different branches before i managed to get one sim free...three said they don't do it sim free..and one didn't even know it was out !!
I did vow never to go there again as they really really make life difficult if you need to replace a phone if faulty, they have no returns policy...
Compared to my Radar, the Nokia is very bad in low light, and has a pink spot issue, was wondering if anyone else noticed this?
Great hardware design though!
I had problems registering via the phone...you need to go to the webiste via PC, register, then log on with mobile. Be careful though, as I mentioned it is flaky and sometimes wrong movies get downloaded.
Has anyone else had a problem with Samsung movies app? I buy an Al Pacino movie and get a Will Ferrell one! My friend also had similar problems with the portal...NO email support either.
I had mine for a day and sent it back...the auto brightness very temperamental. I would play Gboid emulator (great with new controls btw) and the screen would literally get dim and lighten up constantly every few seconds - under same lighting condition, it became very annoying throughout the day...
