I've got a UK Note 8 which I think is the Exynos version. When you open the Member's app, there is a notice about the beta and if you tap on the picture it gives you the option to enrol. Reboot your phone and it should show up.

It showed up for me after rebooting my phone and searching for the update manually.

Who has managed to get WiFi calling working? I bought my phone direct from Samsung, I've got the WiFi & 4G Calling add on from O2 so it should be set up, but for some reason, I don't have the toggle under any of my settings (phone or network settings). Any ideas?

That's what I thought but the ACMEinstaller wipes everything in the cminstall folder. Also, CWM only has the option to install zips from the sdcard which isn't there.

Twitter is baked into the OS, but there is an official version (at least there is for WP 7.8). There are a number of third party apps for things like Youtube and Instagram that are a lot better than you'd think. Try Metrotube or Supertube apps for Youtube.

Any app would use the mechanical shutter as it's all part of how the camera works.

With Windows Phone, all carrier installed apps or bloatware can be uninstalled. It was a requirement Microsoft insisted on. So it won't have a detrimental effect on usage like Android bloatware does.
