I read how to properly uninstall swype, but it didn't work for me. The thread was a couple months old so I wasn't sure if that was for the 2.2 version and not the 2.2.1. when I try to delete the lipswype/swype.apk, it tells me that they're read only files and cannot be deleted. :eek: any ideas?

I had the same thing. Just act as if you're going into download mode. You will see phone!pc, open odin and it should still read it. Add the tae and pit files press start. Should work. Might have to odin again. I did I couldn't swype it would go crazy. Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
