Stock 8.1.0 worked fine for me with Magisk. I tried a few customs and none of it was really stable.. So I wanted some extra feature and I was on the latest PN before updating to stock 8.1.0

Thanks. I did load a clean copy of stock feb factory image and able to install Firehound correctly. However, on first boot up and every boot up since (haven't installed Magisk yet), com.qualcomm.embms crashes. I did a quick search and there is no mention of this in the message board..

Just loaded the latest RR on Sunday night.. just finished setting up.. I noticed for Privacy Guard settings, when I hold down an app to look at the details, for some settings just crash And I think this have been reported already, but Ok Google Enrollment crashes everytime I reboot the phone.

So I was able to use this method last night and I have root on RR and Magisk. I installed Tasker and it said I'm not rooted. What should I do? I have tried to run a root operation (e.g. delete a file in the root) and it say I am not rooted.

Yeah I tried that and got error 255. See attached screenshot. I also read somewhere there may be permission issues with the file. I did try to set the permission of the file first (I know you can do it in tasker, but I did it manually, where chmod=777).
