when it comes to flash capacity double is almost always the only increment, It is a single step up from 128. 2gb -> 4gb -> 8gb->16gb->32gb->64gb->128gb->256gb

what no flac? way easier on the space and still lossless. 300mb a song is unnecessary

that's weird. be aware that FAT32 has a file size limit of 4gb. your systems may or may not employ a workaround. if not you will not be able to use 4gb> files

no problem, you might want to consider NTFS if your phone can take it. also, what version of windows? 7 and past should have no such restriction.

what file system does your SD card use at the moment? have you reformatted or changed the partition at all? if so, in what way

You need a variant of the note 4 that uses the qualcomm Snapdragon set. the exynos variants don't work. I believe this was stated in the opening post. It works fine on my smn-910v (verizon)

I found out that the verison smn910v version IS unlocked I flashed on the original official firmware all I had to do to use my rogers sim was fiddle with some apn settings. It all works now

have you confirmed this personally? If so, what variant did you use? did you test it beyond mounting? did you play files off of it? did you use the sd to micro sd adapter? or was this OTG?

can anyone tell me if the 512 SD card will mount on any other less expensive devices? how about the galaxy s4?

does the folder browser function list ALL the files in the folder or just the ones the device knows how to play?

well the 256gb standard size by lexar is 900$ but i would say for these how about 400$ assuming of course they pass the stress test
