Did everything recommended, and still not successful. So, what I'm going to do is work backwards. I'm going to compile a kernel without configuring it at all, and see if a vanilla compile will work. Maybe some reason the usb wifi adapter drivers are causing the problems.

Just flashed... Went well... No issues so far.

I don't know exactly how they do it. They emailed me when it was done. Once they did I opened the unlock app and clicked permanent unlock button and it worked.
