You can't get to adb through the bootloader? If you can get a hold of a copy of an efs you might be able to change the imei and serial numbers. Check the OnePlus one forums , some people over there had similar problems. Though I don't know how to flash with a locked bootloader, maybe roll back...

Bummer. At this point our warranties will be expiring soon. I would roll it back to stock and if the issue persists get an rma and sell it off. If you bought from huawei then good luck, they don't even answer my own tickets.

I had this issue and saw some random post somewhere about booting into fastboot and letting it sit until it actually dies. I did that until it died and the led blinked red. Now it reads correctly.

That's weird, I coulda sworn that huawei used the same sensor on one of their other phones and it did support gestures.

Not at that wacky price. I was going to grab a note 7, but since I like my house to not burn down, I'm going with a v20 instead. Great camera, amazing DAC, no burn in and a bunch of little extras. It can also pass a bend test.

I can report that with me (clean install of N dp3) the Uber partners app has an issue. When switching back to the app while online control for the app will disappear and all that shows is the top bar and a map. Force closing the app and re entering it makes the problem go away temporarily...

I think it's worth taking a look at this guy's project, he was converting his 6p to a white and gold case and while disassembling the phone he managed to actually tear the metal housing with a plastic pick... granted he was prying at it but still...
