I do use cLock on lock screen, clock enabled, weather enabled, calendar disabled.

Hmmm... while testing last night I was able to use the dock keyboard to enter my PIN after unlock, no screen touch necessary. I just retested this using PIN, still works. I changed it to use Password security instead, and that works too, can type directly, no screen touch necessary on unlock...

It is interesting that the volume mute key doesn't cause any problem, only the volume up and down keys. :confused:

My random reboots so gone (so far) I would typically experience 3 to 4 reboots a day with previous OTA update. I tried cm10 and several other roms, same problem with rebooting usually after deep sleep wakeup. I was really close to doing an RMA with Asus and plead a hardware issue. Installed...

My TF300T typically goes about one day after a cold start before it starts to experience random reboots (usually within 5 minutes of coming out of sleep with wifi on). I'm anxious to see if this update eliminates this problem, will try it out tonight.

Make sure you connect your fully booted tablet to your PC first so that the windows drivers have a chance to load. I had a similar experience to what you described above. Mine flashed successfully after that.

Yep, me too right after the US_epad_-10.4.2.13 update. I have not done a Factory Data Reset to see if makes any difference.

Thanks for your guide! I had OTA JB on my US tf300 and was nervous about rooting. But after running the Asus bootloader unlock utility, I followed from step 3 of your guide and am rooted + TWRP recovery. All this to use my PS3 controller for Nova 3, ha ha.

This nook color offer says "90 day warranty". The one I ordered 2 weeks ago from steals said "1 year warranty". Why the change or just a misprint?

I also ordered it Sept. 30th from dailysteals. It arrived Oct. 12th. Screen was perfect, everything worked as expected. Apart from taking crazy long to ship, I'm happy so far.

A temp solution is to use "Manage applications" under settings, select Netflix app and "Force stop". Start Netflix and you should be working again.

I noticed the live wallpapers weren't available after rooting also. I followed the instructions here which at least allowed me to use the LW's from marketplace: http://nookdevs.com/NookColor_Enable_Live_Wallpapers The Earth Live Wallpaper and the Bubbles LW work really well (very smooth).

It wasn't too bad. I used a blow torch to heat up a metal bar which I then used to soften and curl the plastic. More trial and error as i've never tried to form plastic before. It seems to weaken easily when heated as it gets thin so quickly.

I bet you're totally right, a case without a cutout and case wall is thin enough to wedge in the space behind the back of screen. That is why he repeated, "push up, push up".

I got frustrated here in southern MN waiting for update so just applied manually via instructions. It worked perfectly and only took 5 minutes.
