Could an App from the play store cause the phone to lose connection?

I've used Able's (when I was on 4.4.4), Goldfinger, Super nexus(recent version)...and happens in all of them. So my guess it wasn't any roms. Now my guess it's hardware issue

Yeah, thought it was 4.4.4 so I went to 4.4.2 and the problem is still there

I have been having this annoying problem were my signal keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. I've notice that it mostly happens when I goes from 4G to 4G Lte and vise versa. Have not found any solutions to it. So far I've done Flashed a different rom Flashed modems also NC1 modems Downgrade...

I'm having the same problem. It disconnects and reconnects again. Stays disconnected for about 2 mins. Happens like 12 times a day. I did.... It only does it when calling someone... Not a big deal just wondering if it matters. But the steps you provided looks like it did the trick. I no longer get H+, its 4g now [emoji2]

I too was getting fc when selecting themes... I flashed the ROM again and it fixed the fc

Sorry I couldn't be any help .I was on NC1 too when it happend.. What I did was flashed the rom, NC1 modules and superuser...booted up then went back to recovery and flash the nc1 modem.... booted up again then the sim error was no more...that's when I enter my apn carrier and profit! At&t S4...

So I flash y.c.d rom and got this "insert SIM card" when trying to add my att apn settings... Flashed my backup and it did the same. My baseband says unknown , do I flash the nc1 modem to get data back ? AT&T s4 nc1 SS Edit: So I just went ahead and flashed it and I got back my data...

Yes I'm using 16.1 with nc1 modules... I flash the rom and went thru the setting...When done uncheck the reboot(don't reboot system) then flash modules then SuperSU. Reboot! Let it sit for 5-10minutes. You will find the carrier apn on 'All things AT&T' forum Like I said before. .I'm on att NC1...
