So the US-version of the Mediapad M3 does not support 5GHz Wifi as stated by Huawei and from my personal experience. Per Huawei's website:
Wi-Fi: IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac at 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz (Products delivered to markets that impose FCC certification requirements do not support 802.11 a/ac at 5...
Like me, everyone probably saves their prettiest and most useful widgets for their homescreen. Since I'm so finicky, I like to see everyone else's homescreens to get ideas for new homescreen widgets/setup.
This is what mine looks like. What does yours look like?

Did you accidently/purposely delete any of the Gtalk, Talk, or TalkProvider apks? If so then you'll need to go back to stock and re-root. If not, then start up the Google Talk app, login if not already, then logout, then login again.
Upscaled system resolution v. true resolution
I understand that most apps and functionalities of the NC is simply upscaled from 854x480 to 1024x600. However, is it possible to take advantage of the true screen resolution with video playback or other apps?

Not iOS
Sorry to burst your bubble but it's not iOS. You can see that the wallpaper scrolls as the user scrolls through the different home screens. That implementation is only on Android. It's probably just a cleverly made skin (right down to folders) used to simulate the iPhone. The two OS'...
Different processes
I could be wrong but the Qualcomm's Snapdragon processors in Android phones (N1, Incredible, Droid X, and Droid 2) are made with a 65nm process rather than a 45nm process like the Apple's A4 processor (iPhone) and Samsung's Hummingbird processor (all Galaxy series). Chips...
