Post Ascend P7 is on the way...Thoughts and Opinions

I would recommend to do a force update (vol+and vol- and power at the same time) with a stock firmware from dload-directory on internal root or from the root of a SD-Card to be sure you are on stock-recovery. hat firmware version are you using now? If you are on B851 it may be you have to do the...

Post MM Beta OTA PLK-L01C432B313 update.zip

I have installed it from scratch after a factory reset of the phone. Since I need DualSIM-functionality there is no SD-Card available. Technical support of ALK has recommended to start the app 4-6 times what made Copilot run, but as soon as you try to choose a destination it force closes...

    Post B851 official firmware download

This is a common bug of B851! After updating Android System WebView Playstore-Apps are forceclosing. BTW: It is a high risk to flash the B851-DualSIM-FW for P7-L00 to a singleSIM-P7 like the P7-L10!!!

    Post [Q] Downgrade of EMUI

sorry for jumping in: Until now there is definitely no firmware containing EMUI 3.0 for the international version of the P7-L10! It is some kind of russian roulett to push Images from chinese firmwares to P7-L10. I guess a lot of people are very unhappy since they tried this. The...

Post Ascend P7 is on the way...Thoughts and Opinions

As many other P7-L00 owners I also had a problem with the phone not recognizing the micro-simcard in Slot 1 after a few weeks. Since there were no replacement-parts for P7-L00 in Europe I had to send it in to my seller in China (Etotalk). This takes a long time because china post is very slow...

@ctibor: I solved the problem with the help of recognised dev Bruno Martins in june when this issue became obvious. Since I depend on exchange servers we hat to replace both, the E-Mail-App and the Exchange-App. (com.google.android.email-6.3-1218562.apk and Exchange2Google.apk) This worked...

Post Ascend P7 is on the way...Thoughts and Opinions

I can confirm that settings after an OTG-Update are kept, BUT root and everything depending on root is also lost. So there seems no other way than waiting for an OTA-Update (which will hopefully preserve root as it did in the past) or to switch to TWRP-ROM- and Recovery. Thanks anyway for your...

Some small update as far as P7-L00 is concerned: The latest firmware build that can be rooted with RootGenius is Build B121! As long as OTA-Updates are made with later builds root is kept and works flawlessly. That way I have come to Build 123 until now. The actual Build B124 can be downloaded...

100% agree! The actual CustomROM for me is "state of the art": Rocksolid, lagless and smooth, even beeing able to display HDTV networkstream (Entertain of Deutsche Telekom) without artefacts. GravityBox being continuously further developped for those liking tweaks. I do not need 4.0, this ROM...

The Problem seems to be, that aroma installer in BM CustomROM 3.1 is not installing stock email app (Version 4.1) even though stock email is choosen.
