The lag is not because of the bootanimation. Try a different rom. It works way better with ics than with Kitkat :p

Change the resolution! You don't need to be rooted either! All you need to do is change the video resolution to 320×480, which is the same resolution as of our wildfire s!

Ummm.......why not try using minitool for pc I partitioned mine before changing recovery. If all else fails you can always reflash cwm 5!!!! It takes a few second!

Easy Squeezy Find any old nokia phone that has a micro sd card slot and put your sd card in it. Then format the sd card using the phones file manager and voila the partition is deleted!!

This tut might seem intimidating but follow it step by step and you should be rooted in no time goo*dot*gl/1PD4B3 P.S. Stop calling it desire!!! :P
