Why don you try to use update from Setting > About Phone > Check Update? As long as you have recovery, it will download the update and execute it without wiping the data. I have tried it at my first time. Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk

Since upgrade to kitkat I never use nova anymore, just because of loving home simple launcer. I have tried a tricky one: long hold on homescreen, push widget button, and wait for seconds before choose the widget. It works for me at the moment. Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk

I just also realised that what you mentioned is true. What happened to me is not all calling, but some were not a problem. I think an AOSP based rom has better in-call mic than CM, CMIIW. Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk
