Solved my problem. I checked my phone info using app in the playstore and found out i have no csc, modem and other info except the baseband. So i decided to look for a complete firmware and reflashed on my phone complete with boot loader, csc, modem and base firmware. Now gear vr has been installed.

02/25/2016 manufacture date made in vietnam has this issue after reboot

i have this phone for just 5 days and for the last 4 days i got this notification every reboot, but today, it just disappears. the last thing i did was transferred all apps possible to sd (external) as i could not do a back up (titanium backup) due to low memory.

for me everything works except gps

replaced gps.conf in systems/etc/permissions with file extracted from fix file extracted from downloaded zip file, set permissions to rw-r-r, rebooted phone still cannot find gps. what did i do wrong?

No, i didn't turn on the power saving mode and i also have set the timeout to never under the advance settings for mobile hotspot. This might be a bug for NF8? i have to open the cover again to activate the data.
