For my personal practice, From GB rom with speedmod k2-12 then 3 wipes, straight forward to ICS. From ICS rom I'll flash abssy4.2 redtouch kernel then make sure you select advance and reboot recovery.

I can confirm that, if you flash with Abssy kernel to the new rom like cassie rom v6 or criskelo v9.1 you will get those strange happening like wifi not getting ip address, root is not fully function. I have been flash them more than 10 times. Not everytime having issues but most likely will...

I just do a factory reset and tested it's working in order. So I have to reinstall all the stuffs again. I was from KK1 then to LA4 and LA6. Just like when I was young installing Windows 3.0 and Windows 3.1 with floopy, start up from beginning again. LOL!
