This has been a feature since lollipop days. You get full screen calls only when phone is locked. While phone is in use you get calls as a notification only.

Thanks. Btw changing roms and different android versions doesn't mean you necessarily have to format internal storage. It is a bug in early Oreo builds. I have been flashing many roms sometimes marshmallow sometimes nougat and i have not once had to format my internal storage. Just wipe system...

The full screen call screen will come when you receive a call while screen is locked. If you are using the phone it will always be in the status bar.

Auto call recording would really be great. I have posted this request on lot of ROM threads but seems like nobody has the time/inclination to include this. And also locking/unlocking by flip cover.

Is this problem present even in official build or only on 31 may build? Can someone confirm?

Yes in miui Roms if you're using flip cover you can lock device simply by closing flip cover and wake device by opening it. Supposedly it does that using not the proximity sensor but the hall sensor. Some devs in other rom threads said it could be done only when xiaomi releases kernel sources...

I don't know if it has something to do with the kernel but can the ability to use hall sensor to lock/unlock phone be added ? If yes could you please consider adding that feature? Thanks.

I am using 4 GB variant.

I have been running this for a good 10 days and the ROM is rock solid. 10 hour SOT and buttery smooth. No bugs that I encountered. Very rarely some pop up comes saying browser has stopped but I don't use the inbuilt browser anyway so I simply ignore it. No fingerprint issues no camera issues...

Is there any way I can disable root access in this ROM? EDIT: I found disable root access in magisk settings but what I wanted to ask was can I unroot my phone and still continue using this ROM? Some banking apps still detect rooted device and don't work properly.

Same here. I came from stock MIUI marshmallow and didn't flash firmware. Just the ROM and gapps. Working fine.

If miui is encrypted then why does it not ask me for a decryption key while restarting? Whereas in RR if you reboot device it asks for password BEFORE android boots up indicating that device is encrypted.
