Post Q How to add modules to existing code

I'm more or less in the same point as you. Have successfully written many lines of working code yet, no problems up to the point, but haven't been able to implement other people's code into my apps. I suppose that it is just a matter of trial/error, but so many times I've tried and couldn't...

Post I have never rooted my note, am i alone?

Apart from safe kernel for JB flashing, opening JB multiwindow to every app and calibrating the S-Pen, haven't had the need to root for anything else. I agree that stock unrooted rom has been the best option for me since the begining. I don't agree with the idea of "only rooting gets you the...

The 7th jun update didn't made any errors in my computer... Anyway, a week ago I created a post in my web to explain in spanish, more or less the same solutions given in this post; can find it HERE I checked out that the process of creating the environment variable JAVA_HOME and such tricks...

Post Jellybean update for Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 is bad.

Never seen anything like slugginess caused by a long contact list... 1300 are a lot, though. Might be a problem for the stock contacts app. Have you tried another one? There are several replacement ones in the Play Store. Anyway, did you tried the clean installation described in this thread...

I don't know, so many flashing overwhelms me. But I'm in Philz rooted stock spanish 4.1.2 LSZ, without removing any bloatware or anything touched (only rooted to calibrate s-pen and opened multiwindow to any app) and I can assure you my Note goes fluid, with no battery drains and there's no 5...

Post Trading my galaxy nexus for a Note

Wow... seems like we have two completely different phones. I can't agree with 80% of what you say. Sadly the emmc brick bug is there, and there will never be enough soft&hw support from Samsung to get us all pleased, but hey... - JB runs GREAT on this phone, the failure is the update process...

Post Trading my galaxy nexus for a Note

BurningKoala I had GNexus for some time (app developing) and it's a great phone, but I'm glad I chose the Note over it. Disadvantages are SO & Hardware optimization (Note's fast and reliable but nothing rivals Nexus) and, maybe, size. If you are considering the Note, size might not be a problem...

Another faulty update process made with no interest and no real testing at all? Thanks, but no thanks. I'll stick to 4.1.2 after a clean flash, which will surely be the peak for this device in terms of performance/functionality/estability. But of course will be interesting for the dev...

fast_asleep: About Philz, you should read carefully this read: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1901191. I recomend you to flash the appropiate kernel from a zip file directly from the external micro sd, trough the stock recovery. And no, it doesn't raise you flash counter...

Post Jellybean update for Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 is bad.

That is right. Happened to me. And that's why I noted the importance of formating sd/micro sd memory, as I believe to be one of the "remains" that create trouble with the JB update. So formating + wipes and then flashing in Odin is, in my opinion, the best way to assure settlement of everything...

asf58967 Why shouldn't I think and say PC Odin is better? Just because you say so? I do think it IS better. Post Jellybean update for Samsung Galaxy Note N7000 is bad.

fast_asleep, I'd advise you to use Odin, but prior installation of Kies is needed for the drivers. Philz kernel is a rooted & safe version of the stock kernel, which allows you to factory reset your phone without the risk of leaving it unusable - due to a problem related to a broken chip in...

Post Galaxy note vs Galaxy s advance.

The screen size itself & s-Pen clearly explains the difference. Or find another phone with them. There's no real competence for the Note series, you're misjudging hardware specs for the main - exclusive - features. Enviado desde mi GT-N7000 usando Tapatalk 2

I'm about to do the same thing, but I'm lazy about it because even though the performance has slightly decreased, it hasn't become as bad as many people here. I changed Swiftkey for Thumb Keyboard and Chrome for Boat, deactivated G.Now and smart stay, etc. And everything run reasonably fast...

Post Will the galaxy mega replace the note series?

I would say more: Galaxy Mega = Note 2 - S pen - Superamoled screen And Mega line will probably stick to plastic while Note3 and S5 will change body material to single aluminium body frame. It will be another option, that's all.

Post Will the galaxy mega replace the note series?

Well, I can count up to three people I know who bought their notes just for their big screen, and almost never use the stylus. Post Sell your note and buy a nexus 4

Those reasons added to the phablet concept are exactly my thoughts about it. I've been in meetings where my note was as good as a tablet for displaying my job without carrying (AND buying) two devices. Couldn't do that in a NX4, so it's just not comparable.

Post Galaxy Note JB in march Ukraine Release Only

I understand that a "flagship" is the main selling device of a brand, the ones which it depends on. I meant a marketing point of view, not a price one. I mean, the most expensive BMW in their catalogue is not their "flagship" BMW car... Which surely is the same way as Samsung - or any other...

That's the real point: App compatibility with android.
