That is right. Happened to me. And that's why I noted the importance of formating sd/micro sd memory, as I believe to be one of the "remains" that create trouble with the JB update. So formating + wipes and then flashing in Odin is, in my opinion, the best way to assure settlement of everything...

I would say more: Galaxy Mega = Note 2 - S pen - Superamoled screen And Mega line will probably stick to plastic while Note3 and S5 will change body material to single aluminium body frame. It will be another option, that's all.

Well, I can count up to three people I know who bought their notes just for their big screen, and almost never use the stylus. So it might not be a "replacement", in the full meaning of the word, but more like a better option for all of the people who just don't need an stylus in their phones...

C'mon. Will NEVER be as smooth as it is in GNexus. Even my Nexus S was smoother in ICS than some dual cores. You know. Nexus, Google, drivers and stuff. But hope it gets even better with the official Note update. Work, Samsung people, work!!!

Those reasons added to the phablet concept are exactly my thoughts about it. I've been in meetings where my note was as good as a tablet for displaying my job without carrying (AND buying) two devices. Couldn't do that in a NX4, so it's just not comparable.

I understand that a "flagship" is the main selling device of a brand, the ones which it depends on. I meant a marketing point of view, not a price one. I mean, the most expensive BMW in their catalogue is not their "flagship" BMW car... Which surely is the same way as Samsung - or any other...

Sorry but the Galaxy Note is not a flagship, unlike the galaxy S series - it was more like an experiment compared to the Note2, which might be considered flagship now they know the experiment worked well - and there has been one major update, now waiting for the second. Not trying to defend...

I agree but most things you say are long known problems of ICS, present in every device with that version no matter the hardware (especially the dialer/contacts one). I tell you this cause my previous - now, app testing - phone was a Nexus S and even it is faster than the Note opening those...

That's the real point: App compatibility with android. I guess if a java virtual machine is built into the system and the android resources (or the sdk) is present in the phone, it should run most android apps out there, but always with some issues (drivers, memory allocation, etc). We'll see...

Well, I can't decide which device will be - have the note for 2 months only - but I can tell you something: I won't go lower than 5'3" size EVER. It really substitutes my 7 inch tablet displaying and reading uses, while being really portable. That's a daily something in my life I just won't give up.

After trying most of the android reader soft, I'm using moon+reader for books (very customizable, and customized, didn't like the defaults) and perfect viewer for comics. In landscape, the width of the screen is bigger than many standard size books. So far, I've read 5 books and 7 comics in it...
