Just flash the ROM as usual, through CWM. The only difference is that the flashing will be interactive, with nice GUI shell and touchscreen support.

LP5 is not deodexed. So if you want to try this mod, make sure you delete *.odex files for all *.apk it replaces.

That is exactly what I've said above about MTP vs. "old-style" connection. Try to connect device the second way and see if it explodes ... :cool:

You have it connected as MTP device :), and here mentioned old-style connection when SD cards are visible as "true drives" (Settings->More->USB Utilities->Connect storage to PC).

I've got working ROM by replacing zImage, modem.bin and updater-script by those from lp5 inside ROM archive before flashing. So there is luck ;) PS. I've reverted to LP5 ROM, in the end. Seen no real profits in migrating to LP6.

Had this problem with very particular app, namely "Where is my whater?" game. When i included it in the set of apps to be restored, TB stopped dead. Since i've removed it from backup - everything restored like charm (including systems apps data).

I use it to restore system apps data with no problems at all (as long as you just rolling back to the ROM that was used to make the backup). Saves a lot of time - about 90% system settings are restored (including Apex desktop config - with all widgets). The rest 10% includes bluetooth pairings...

It is default settings for this ROM. No need to install and run SetCPU for that. It is better to wait and use ROM for a several days to make sure that everything working stable (no SODs, poweroffs, spontaneous reboots etc.) and then, if you feel such need, start playing with SetCPU or similar tool.
