If you don't want to be rooted to "kill the lag" go to recovery mode and factory reset and reboot. Do not touch or do anything with the phone for 5 minutes before setting up.

If I were you I will just sell it than to return it to tmobile. The whole process will take a long time and it will take 1-2 billing cycle(1-2 months) to get your money back

I got it working. for some reason whenever I placed the custom rom zip( Infamous and wicked) in the sd card it doesn't boot at all and keeps on going to the recovery and then finally I placed and flashed the rom zip from the internal memory... boom it works :D

I followed mattlgroff guide on rooting my s4 and everything works I managed to gain root but then when I flashed a custom rom (wicked and infamous) and then reboot it. It won't get past the samsung galaxy s4 screen and then reboot again to recovery. :(

Anyone having problem using MTP on windows 8? I installed KIES and Samsung driver.I can see at the bottom right of the screen that windows 8 recognized my s3 but I can't/access it to transfer files.

I always install bloatware free but it is still freezing. Just decide to just removed the battery and let it boot... it works!

Aroma keeps on freezing after flashing/before rebooting. I tried to flash it several times and I get the same result.

I'm using this kernel for 3 days now, I always set my max and min for the cpu and sio for scheduler. but everytime i reboot it does not stick to my setting? Any idea? I'm using system tuner by the way

download you kernel again maybe you had a bad download.

Just flashed it on T-mobile (US) SGS3 and it works, but missing the brightness slider and some apps are not themed, I guess it works 80% on t mobile variant. Thanks

I have been using FreeSG3 R6 for 2 days now with out any issue. I'm using faux 009 and Jellybomb theme. Did full wipe 3x before flashing ROM and KERNEL. I let the phone boot up and let it load everything then flash the theme. Everything is running smoothly don't have any problem at all.

Just use Titanium back up for your apps and text messages. I would suggest to do a full wipe, flash rom and then flash kernel so that the rom will runs smoothly

Works great but it drains my battery. I'm a heavy user, My battery usually last for 8-12 hrs. but when I installed it and played with it for 15 mins. I noticed it drains my battery it only lasted for 5 hrs

What kernel are you flashing? Try flashing Adama 003 kernel. Maybe try downloading the ROM again. maybe it's a bad download

Everything is working great except the battery is stock at 100%.

I installed google now yesterday and I notice right away that my battery life is not as long as it used to be. I only tried google now for like 10 mins after I installed it. is it possible that google now drains our battery?
