Sorry, I can't imagine what the problem with .Net is. Unless you're really attached to the AT&T branding in the ROM, you might consider flashing a stock ROM or one of the wonderful custom ROMs here in the forums.

If you have the download rate set to anything other than "Never", it will automatically download when you run the app. You can set it to something like 30 minutes if you usually open it for a quick look and close it when you're done (if you only want it to update when you first open it).

It must have something to do with the version of .Net that they put on the Fuze. Did I understand correctly that you had installed .Net 3.5 previously (since you said you uninstalled it)? If so, maybe there was a conflict between the one you installed and the version in ROM, and maybe TT will...

What is your ROM version?

Try reinstalling .Net 3.5 from the link in the first post, then do a soft reset. I can't think of any reason why the app wouldn't work as long as .Net is installed successfully.

Try adding the .V extension to the symbol for TSX tickers, or .TO for Toronto exchange. There's a link to more exchange extensions in the FAQ.

There are 2 volume settings: System volume, and Ringer volume. Make sure both of them are turned up. I assume you can hear other sounds?

I don't know of any other settings for that. This is my 4th or 5th WM device, and up until now they all did what you are describing. Maybe this is something that was removed in WM6. If I remember right, it was originally developed by Ericsson, and then a consortium of companies banded...

Look at the "Storage" option in the camera settings. If it is set to Main Memory, the pictures should be in /My Documents/My Pictures. If it is set to Internal Storage, the pictures should be in /Internal Storage/My Documents/My Pictures.

You're welcome! The Download Rate is how often it automatically update the quotes. It has no effect on clicking a ticker to view a chart. The next update will include options to disable downloading charts as well (in addition to the cached chart settings). Just add "EURUSD=X" (no quotes)...

The app definitely wasn't designed for smartphone displays ... too small. ;)

@MDAIIIUser -- Good ideas, I'll incorporate some things around them. I had wanted to do something similar when I started this project, but the general concensus was that nobody cared about data usage, and in the meantime I got an unlimited plan, so I didn't anymore either. :D

Thanks for posting the screen shots ... they'll help me figure out what to do for WVGA, since I don't have an emulator for it. The update later to adjust times to your local time will also display dates using your system settings. ;)

Barring any other solutions, you could copy and paste the number into the dialer, instead of having to write it down. I doubt there are any tweaks to make it a clickable link.

OK, gotcha ... so you can install to either device or storage while still using the same manila file.

The original installer creates registry entries for AppToDate, because I didn't want to create folders/clutter for those who don't use it. Moving these files would break the integration ... but I guess the cab you created doesn't make the reg entries. Do these really need to be renamed & moved...

I'm going to do that soon, so everyone can make their localized version. I just didn't take the time to use string resources in the beginning, because it was only a proof of concept ... it grew too fast. ;) So I'll make sure the next version uses resource files...

I find google to be the easiest. Just enter "convert 1 in to mm" or whatever into the search, and it will give you the answer. No app to install, no fuss, no muss.

I have looked into using localized sites (de., hk., uk., etc) already, but I found that only the US site will give me the data feed. The rest of them (I tried 16 of them) don't appear to have the same feed. Sorry. ;) Hmmm, at one time it was normal size, but I must have messed it up...

If you keep it synced with your computer/outlook, there shouldn't be much of a problem. Ever since my first WM device, I've kept a list of all changed settings, etc. A hard reset isn't really that big of a deal. You do it, reinstall a few apps you had, change some settings from the cheat...

There's no need to update when they're the same version number. FYI when comparing ROM versions, the 3rd set of numbers is only a region code. So you & I (see sig) have the same ROM version, just made for different regions. As for your other questions, a ROM update (or hard reset) only...

Something that might point you in the right direction ... when you select all the files and check the size, hidden files won't be included. Make sure you have explorer set to show hidden files and system files, or use something like total commander to find them. Once you find out what is...

In theory. :D Most wallpapers won't be the right size. I don't know if the HD will stretch them, or leave your screen with empty space. Let us know how it goes once you have it!

They should work fine, but you might see some funky things due to the difference in screen dimensions. Since the Diamond is 480x640 and the HD is 480x800, some apps might look stretched out, and some might not fill the screen. But WinMo is WinMo no matter what device it's on, so they will...
