ksmd is daemon service for Kernel Samepage Merging. It is enabled to improve the efficiency of the ram usage. It is brings no performance difference and worse battery drain, I will consider disabling it next time, or make it to a module.

No, the lpm mode (charge when device is off) is a kernel function. It is removed from kk source. v13 normal version has a workaround from CM that brings the lpm back.

Are you using Lite version? v13 normal version can charge when the device is turned off.

Well it is a stock kernel. I transplanted the uci and maxfour init script to the stock initramfs. So it is a kernel made of stock zImage and MaxFour initrd. It has basic stweaks functions, plus stock kernel stability. So if you met problem with the compiled one. Try this.
