You will found the otg-pendrive under /mnt/media_rw I format my pendrive with the build-in format function, so it is formated with FAT32, maybe this could be the problem, why you can't write.

I can copy files from internal storage to an otg-pendrive with the built-in otg-explorer. Also I can do this with the cm file manager in root mode.

I had no problems with connecting to arch linux. I used heimdall, adb and PCmanFM with gvfs-mtp. I think the device was on the nightly from 20160227 when I used it last time. It's the device from my sister, so I can't test it now.

But I like minmal and free (i.e. FOSS) apps. oandbackup's apk is just 429 kB compared to 7.3 MB of titantium and it do its job very well when there is no problem with busybox. ;)

Found a workaround: https://github.com/jensstein/oandbackup/issues/57 Installing another busybox version, which is there provided, solved this problem. It seems to be a bug of the busybox version. The issue opener reports a bug and then there was a commit to solve this problem in CM 11...

the problem with stucking on Android starting screen I had also with cm 13 on the n5110, removing the sd card solve this problem also.

I had the same problem flashing cm 13 on the i9100, and there it works too :)
