Just for info - I found that I had to clean install 14 release to fix the issues.

Bluetooth Hi I have seen a few references to bluetooth issues with the current ROM. My bluetooth disconnects (Mercedes Car connection) a few seconds after intial connection and the bluetooth service on the phone stops and won't restart. I have to reboot the phone which gives me a few seconds...

It's rooted. Enable root in Developer Options.

Sorry if this has been answered - I can't find it. Is the firmware update needed for both ROM versions or is it for 5.1 only? Thanks.

Is it just me? I did a clean flash of the new version. The ROM does not enter setup, I cannot create any accounts, widgets sit off-centre. What did I do wrong?

Thanks. I'm afraid I must be being very stupid. I open 'Themes'. I swipe L-R and get 'Theme Packs' - nothing there, 'Style' - nothing, 'Icons' - a few androids, etc I cannot see any theme packs I have tried to install. What am I doing wrong - and sorry to be so obtuse. Thanks.

Thanks. I had assumed that since I had only the default theme on my phone, I did not have to change it. I am now trying what you suggest but there are no additional theme packs on my phone and I cannot see anything in the Play Store other than CM11 themes which fail to install. Advice...

Has anyone had any success in fixing the Clock force close? I have tried the recommendations and software in this thread but it remains an issue. I understand that there is an underlying CM issue whcih will be fixed in due course but is there any useful temporary measure I could try? Thanks.

I have installed the new release 20150129 by dirty flash, wiping cache and Dalvik. I cannot now wake the phone with double-tap. Modem is latest version and everything else seems ok. Clean flash, or is there a known issue and fix? If this involves proximity sensor, where can settings be found...

I assume the next build will arrive when it arrives but in the meantime, to check my understanding - The new build should be clean flashed but after I have done so I will be unable to change the keyboard? This means I cannot have Swiftkey until the next build. Do I have this right? Thanks.

Tried the zip and confirmed the files ar enow in /system/priv-app. Still no Goole account option however. Also (may be a different problem) the contents of the internal SDCARD are not visible either in PC or in File Explorer. I can see them through ADB (root shell).

Is there a straightforward way to determine which firmware version is installed and whether a ROM zip contains firmware or not? TIA.

Not Ot at all, I think. On mulling this over, my view is that two 'commercial' phone operating systems (HTC One M8 and Samsung Galaxy) work perfectly well with Mercedes bluetooth telephony, however Oneplus One and 'vanilla' CM do not. That's got to be a bug.

There is no sign of force closure of bluetooth and the connection continues to work after SMS is 'blocked' so bluetooth cannot have been deliberately disabled. I am probably misunderstanding what your are suggesting. Sorry! I agree it may well be simple incompatibilty. Pity as other phones...

Thanks. All other aspects of the connection work fine. I can read the contacts and make/receive calls. It is just the SMS access that is problematic, so I don't think bluetooth is being disabled.

I have to record my support for jcase's views on how S-off should be paid for - without participation in arguments over other matters. I have lived through a numbe of S-Off projects and I have never seen a smoother and more polite outcome to the development process. People value what they pay...

Works with ARHD 8.0 too. The small issue is that the phone will not reboot at the end of the process. I just waited 10 mins to be sure and then rebooted manually. S-off ok!! Jcase says that there is a problem with ARHD reboot binary.

If you purchased your phone in the EU, your warranty is uneffected by S-off or rooting. EU consumer regulations do not allow the manufacturer to decline warranty under these circumstances.

FYI - emailed them today asking if Magma Box really did the business and did it mean they would be offering 'post in' S-Off shortly. Got this reply. "Once we have tested then it will be on the website."

I recommend you read a few pages back. There can be a problem with locating the earlier backups. Backups made under android 4.1.2 might not be visible to 4.2.2 ROMS. Backups are at /data/media/clockworkmod but restore will look in /data/media/0/clockworkmod. As long as you are aware of this...

Just to confirm that the current CWM Touch 6.0.3.2, which should really be 6.0.3.3 I think, works perfectly with the newer firmware. Pick it up from the official thread.

Hi Mike I have been trying to get this info but ADB can't see my phone. I've removed and re-installed the drivers and the phone shows up as a 'Portable Device' but invisible to HTC Sync and to ADB. Any hints and tips? Thanks
