GCam 1.8 and 1.9 both crash on 7 Pro, Open Beta 8. Reinstalling app works, but crashes again as soon as I make settings and switch lenses. Does not open at all afterwards.

Yeah, but the point is, I'm not alone here. I tested it twice without using it, and i was able to touch 49% at the 30 minute mark. A couple of friends did the same, they got 52%. Even without measuring we can feel that it's slower.

Q will probably be community beta, just like P for the 3/T. And when it comes to the new OP7 features, OnePlus said "non-hardware dependent features" will come down. And they've already added Fanatic Mode, Screen Recorder and Zen Mode. I'm not sure how many others there are though(DC Dimming, etc).

System update page does not open when NoLimits is installed, it has been an issue ever since the page was redesigned. Any way to get it working apart from disabling NoLimits and rebooting?

It's not all that different from the current beta's changelog, maybe H2OS is lagging behind? ( A 20 day lag doesn't make sense either, though.)

If you use latest blu_spark TWRP (9.91) you can flash or without removing the compatibility check.

Guys, a quick question. I've changed ROMs before but never kernels, so I don't really know much about it. So I want to flash ElementalX kernel over OP5 OB21 with NoLimits installed. Will there be any conflict between the kernel and the magisk ROM, or is it safe to do so?

I'm just waiting for the next beta (hopefully pie) so I can clean flash again. If that doesn't improve things I will try that. Thanks a lot for the suggestion!

I clean flashed twice just to make sure. I used to get 6+hours with above average usage with XXX No limits installed( and battery optimisations both turned off). Now I barely get past 4 hours.

That's the problem. On a rooted device, I haven't turned on OnePlus camera in the last 6 months because the G-Cam ports are so perfect. The ones that don't require root will not be able to function to their full extent because of the limitations of OOS.

A little more information, and we can try to point you in the right direction. Like, are you rooted, do you have the fix installed, etc.

Touching the proximity sensor turns the screen off even in normal unlocked state. How to disable it?

Valid points, but addressing No.7, you do have the grayscale toggle in the quick settings bar, courtesy of Digital Wellbeing. It's probably hidden amongst the unused tiles, go check it out.

There's no toggle for it or anything like in OxygenOS. And yeah, also there isn't a status bar icon. Are you referring to stock OOS? Why did you have to use a magical module? It supports VoLTE natively.
