Yes. Xposed can mess up things real bad. If I'm not wrong they warn about it too. (long time since I used it)

I have the same issue with the SD-card. SIM 1 is not working here. Currently using SIM 2 instead. But maybe I should try the tapetrick... I guess we never can trust a chinese ;)

Based upon to that the Elephone p8000 has the same hardware, it "might" be possible to used it's alternative roms. (on your own risk) You will find them under the Elephone P8000 section. There is at least two of them. Eragon & a nexus rom. I will try when I receive my K2

I just ordered one. I have a Elephone P8000, but I found that is a little bit too big. But the Hardware specs (except for the display) seems to be just the same. I will eventually try the Eragon or Nexus rom for P8000, if I succeed to install Philz recovery.
