I've this problem too. On cybernetus 8.4.3v65 is all good, but on cybernetus v80 and computronicos v79 I"ve got this problem by waking up.

Have you tried other films in hw? Maybe a codec isn't supported.

Can't play video in the HW mode - it's only CM11 bug.
