Resolved Thanks bauner for your help. I was able to flash the ROM using a ROM installer app. When the app booted into the recovery somehow the problem did not occur.

Bad performance from NOTE Even I have exactly the same problem. It is not very smooth while opening contacts and messages. Didn't expect such performance from Note. Sometimes I think I have wasted money on this.:mad:
