I have a question, I can't seem to give permissions to certain apps from the pop-up messages I can only click on deny even though both options are in green color However I still can give permanent permissions if I go into settings and set it there

your gps does not work on CM13? or it does not work in the stock samsung android ? for CM13 you might need to change the gps.conf file like i did.

Even after following and changing my ntp servers to include my country (my) and also the asia servers (0.asia.pool.ntp.com) gps is still unusable, only getting 3~4 satellites compared to >10 satellites on the CM12.1 version therefore the gps only gets a 3D lock very very rarely i tested them at...

I'm also having troubles with GPS on CM13 (clean flash) My GPS is working in CM12.1 though (just did a clean flash for CM12.1 and it worked)

ya i had this problem too.... it is hard to get the status bar in full screen apps.... I'm already very used to going to task switcher to get the status bar down until i forgot about it... *Actually still on 13/06 build*

How can you say that development has stopped when he is still here helping out with issues that people are facing... Besides that, the latest rom doesn't require much urgent fixes like the past ones during the release of android 5.1 with all of the memory issues and some battery draining bugs...

How long is your video recording? I had issues like yours in one of the old CM12 builds (somewhere in March).. I tried a 1 min 1080p recording, the recording was fine, but it is confirmed that the CPU doesnt drop below 500Mhz anymore (idle hovering at around 5% cpu usage)

I have weird freezes..... Maybe after one or two days of usage ( I turn my phone off every night ) It will start to stutter ( screen and audio ), then i have to long hold power button to restart it again... Anybody else experiencing this? And also wifi direct as someone mentioned earlier...

That actually happens to me all the time..... I had my phone battery die, i charged it to around 25% (off), when i turned it on it was about 60%... Maybe my battery is faulty.... but i had this problem quite a while now..

I have a small issue here, after i repartitioned and installed the rom the system doesnt detect the internal storage anymore, just the 6gb system partition.... Anyway to initialize the storage? do i format sdcard0 from cwm?

Small question here i will be repartitioning before flashing BETA9, in step 2 after i repartition with using PhilZ-cwm6-DXLSE-OBA-5.06.1.tar.md5(my version) Do i still flash the BETA3 Kernel only or do i use the BETA9 Kernel only for updated CWM recovery in step 4? Or both works?

Did you check if your battery is faulty? it happened quite often when my old battery was bloated... the percentage would just suddenly drop after a reboot or get 20% extra battery from turning it back on while charging ... I'm not sure about the lockscreen but some configurations that i have...

I wonder if there's a way to disable the fade-out effect for locking the screen? Because it takes a while to respond on my old phone, sometimes i thought the phone didn't register and i try to lock the phone again... Or other times i lock the phone as it is just about to lock itself, turning it...

new update, contacts that are being used in Whatsapp and Messages get deleted from my phone while the others are intact... Why........

I think the problem with contacts disappearing are because my contacts were never saved in google before, therefore everytime it syncs with google all my existing contacts are deleted... My contacts are fine since i turned off the contacts sync in accounts...

but... but... i only installed whatsapp, Line messenger and File explorer after a clean flash of 8.0.3 :crying:

well, before flashing the custom rom my battery manages one day of battery from 8am to 10pm with basic messaging(SMS) llike i always do but this new ROM is certainly more power hungry... still playing around with the settings to turn off things that i dont need...

I had the same problems with contacts not showing + disappearing, will try the workaround and report back... I find the built in web browser to be very very sluggish and alll background apps will be killed when the web browser is running... Does an alternative web browser solve the solution...

wifi still has issues..... some times i cant turn on wifi.... "turning on wi-fi" then it goes off again

I am still running stock 4.1.2 N7000DXLS8 but i have flashed Philz-cwm6-DXLSE-OLB-4.91.2 without using Odin.... Do i still have to use Odin to flash PhilZ-cwm6-XXLT6-XSA-5.06.1.tar.md5 or i can just flash it from my existing Philz recovery?

I am wondering how long does the battery last for you guys on a day to day ( no gaming ) basis... Is it stable enough yet to be used as a daily phone?
