If you use Titanium Backup (Pro): just lauch it and at first screen it will tell you your Note is rooted or not. Simple to test.

Only in case you have to do special things directly with Nordic language. Otherwise, no need to do so if your device is working smoothly. Plus, UK/English versions trend to be updated very soon, if not the soonest. It's my private opinion.
