Post [UK] Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow Beta Bug Thread

As reported by a few other people, there is indeed an issue with the Galaxy Care app. It's not showing the Galaxy Beta Program, and is giving server errors. This is probably a temporary issue and should be fixed soon. Furthermore, if you have already been enrolled into the Galaxy Beta program...

I have a Christmas gift for you all. It's coming really soon! Sit tight! :D **** Nevermind! I got the link to the official G925XXU3ZOL6 Beta OTA update, but it looks like it's encrypted and can't be flashed manually; verification errors in recovery. :(

I would happily dump the firmware, but I don't want to trip Knox, as I would like to use Samsung Pay when it arrives in the UK. Best bet would be to look for the OTA file URL in logcat.

After testing the build for a few hours, It looks like the RAM management issue still exists. However, keep in mind, Marshmallow is still under development. So, wait until Sammy pushes the final build before ranting about it.

    Post Firmware-update N910FXXU1DOL3 (Hungary - PAN)(Android 6.0) available

The firmware is real; it's a test firmware. It's currently under development and nowhere near final build. Also, this firmware is not rolling out anywhere, it's just that a person has got hold of one and leaked the screenshots and video of it.

Do you even know why OEMs release kernel source code ?

    Post 4.4 for gs3 general discussion ( news & leaks & problems & expectations )

Samsung will NEVER release kernel source code, because they are not obligated to. There is no KK build so there is no GPL. Stop spamming them.

There are custom ROMs based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat and there are many people who have flashed their devices with such ROMs. And, some people have obviously performed a GFX benchmark on their device (with android 4.4.2 custom rom), thus Android 4.4.2 showing up in the benchmark history. :P
