Easy: the version of ANX in your last ROM crashes when trying to make a photo. So I would like to try 184... As a workaround I installed Urnyx GCAM which works without any problem. Thanks in advance for the next version.

Same here on my Mi A2 with 128 GB. On another one (not rooted) it worked without problems. I reinstalled the old stock, tried without Magisk, but still doesn't work. Why did I believe Android One would be an advantage? Xiaomi ist delivering not quality but problems with these "monthly" updates...

You should explain why it isn't possible to update to the newest version of Magisk. It isn't so nice installing a new ROM with an old version of root and no chance to fix this. Update: Removed the ROM. Titanium Backup crashes immediately. So unusable for me.

@ripee: Thanks for the updatet link and the build. With it I had no problem updating to Magisk v18 (with the Experience ROM in Android Development my tab simply froze when rebooting).

Bought the 715 and rooted it without problems following your instructions. Thanks a lot. Now I will search for a way to build a slim and deodexed version of the stock rom (I used my "own" kitchen-cooked version on my Note 1 a long time - and I hope this will be possible here again).
