Anyone using this ROM who has a router with 5Ghz band, can you see your 5Ghz AP and connect?

Anyone else having problem seeing 5Ghz WiFi? Other devices can see my 5Ghz band, but my note 3 running this ROM can't. Worked fine in KitKat.

Something is up with the aroma installer scripts. I was able to get the status bar only by flashing the 3minit battery stuff

Clean innstall, still no status bar ... tried several times with 1.5, stock, I still cannot get a status bar on top of the screen. Did complete wipe, tried selecting all of the additional aroma items. Any ideas?

If you can get your hands on another battery, just to test, try that (could be you bought a bummer battery) Do you have any friends with Note 3 you can swap batteries with just to see what it does?

Cables can be bad (or go bad) too. Check and clean the connectors. I also recently learned that longer USB cables will NOT charge as efficiently as shorter cables. Anything over 4 feet will give you problems.

Better to install it from the App store.

Do you have the GNG1 modem?

Reinstall the ROM without wiping, and all should be well :)

Baseband is N9005XXUENC2, so I guess it didn't change? I'll try the power-off, battery pull, then reflash...

I installed the NG1 modem using Odin without error (and switched to the official kernel in the process) -- but unfortunately the lock screen problem is still there.

Love this ROM, but I just noticed that PIN unlock seems to be broken. Put in the PIN in the setup, and it hangs during the confirmation. I also tried it with a wipe and clean install of this ROM. Sent from my SM-N9005 using XDA Free mobile app

Unfortunately, it could also mean that the midcroSD port is toast. I would look at that first -- see if there's any dust or foreign material in there and gently clean it out if you find anything. Then borrow a friend's microSD and see if it works in your device.

Try uninstalling 1mobile and see if your downloads work properly again. You may have to contact 1mobile and ask them why it is doing this.

synapse "boot settings canceled" I'm using the latest versions of the titular ROM and KERNEL of this thread -- which I love, BTW. However, Synapse always starts with an alert "boot settings canceled" I tried reinstalling, then waiting ten minutes after rebooting before starting the synapse...

None of the standard apps should do that -- and if Rogers has installed bloatware that does this then they should be taken to task. It is almost certainly some app you installed,

Probably is the coating worn off. I had something similar on my old phone. I ended up polishing the entire screen with a little bit of white toothpaste to remove coating elsewhere and give it a better appearance.

At this point, you are dealing with someone who sold you a fraudulent item. Call the police.

Try formatting it with a PC, as Killberty recommend. Patriot is generally a good brand -- I'm using a 64GB right now. However sometimes you just get a dud. If it still misbehaves after formatting it, take it back for an exchange.
