After flashing the ROM, flash the Raw Kernel v9 CM12. The heating will eventually decrease.

Kinda the same situation here. I flashed Beta 7 about an hour ago. The keyboard wasn't working at first. But after enabling the hardware, it worked. But the menu button works fine for me though.

Hello! A while ago, I bricked my n7000. Luckily, I was able to unbrick the phone. But now, it randomly freezes (on any ROM). Any solutions?

Help me guys. I need help. Every time I try to flash this ROM, it shows that it is flashing. Then after 5-10 minutes, It tells me that the installation has failed. Someone please assist me. I have followed all the installation steps carefully.

The ROM seems a little laggy. And whenever I play a video, I can only hear the audio without the image. This ROM just needs a little more development, and it will be a perfect daily driver for every GT-N7000 user. Thank you for your effort, bauner!

I'm loving v8.2!! But I have a battery drainage problem. I figured out that Google + was the culprit. It was on the whole time. But the thing is, how do i get rid of it? My battery was at 89 percent. And after an hour without usage (wifi off, 3g off, gps off, Bluetooth off), it went down to 63...

You must install a firmware with an xxltc base first. It can be a stock rom or a custom rom. AryaMod ROM is a custom ROM with an xxltc base. Flash it, then you can successfully flash Cheese ROM. I have tried the procedure already, and it works! ;)

Can you please tell me the difference between DU v7.9 official and the test build?

Yes, I think you can flash it just after wiping the cache and dalvik. If you feel like the rom is sluggish after flashing it using the method I've mentioned, then wipe system data, wipe cache and dalvik, then flash the ROM, then the gapps. :)

Been on the same boat every now and then. I would suggest you boot into recovery and wipe cache partition, then reboot the system. Let me know what happens.

To answer your first question, I would recommend the stock package. To answer your second question, I would say you don't have to flash any kernel after flashing DU. The ROM is stable without flashing a different kernel over it. Check out my video review of DU v7.9. It might help you decide...
