i got G965FXXU1ARCC through this morning for a minor update Call stability and wallpaper quality upgrades apparently... hardly one of the major things that actually needs fixing in this phone

go into settings -> sounds and vibration -> vibration intensity find the notification slider and turn it all to the left to turn vibrations off entirely

what launcher are you using? if stock Samsung launcher, pinch in on the screen and go to settings... you'll find that notification badges have to be turned on there separately for some annoying reason if any other launcher, make sure you've given it notification access under accessability so...

it is... if it's annoying you, you can pull it across and go into settings to disable it or turn it fully transparent so you can still use it but it's not visible anymore

same here... can't get it working for any notifications tried all the settings i can think of, it just won't show up for notifications... went back to the old app i used for the S7 Edge just so i could have some visual notification back, because the default one for the S9+ will not work for me...

vukandric how did you set the clock to be in the center? I've always used xposed modules to do that before... is there another way?

Installed from the SVN download (R12 apparently) and went perfectly... running smooth as hell, love it :D

I'm using the 'black edition' theme... which gives me a pure black notifications pulldown for the normal theme, but with Good Lock, it's always white or a pale colour of any of the others from what i can understand, there isn't any way to get a black notifications pulldown with Good Lock...

never had a problem with Nova draining battery personally... I've been using it for years, and on the S7 Edge with a live KLWP... and i get great battery life out of it

that what i thought... damn, i hate using third party contacts / dialler options :( hopefully some helpful developer will add the option to a custom rom so i can actually look at my contacts app without dread lol

Does anyone know if there is a way to add the filtering options to the contacts app instead of just the contacts in the dialler area? Samsung seem to have removed the "display only contacts with phone numbers" from the contacts app... which means when I sync the phone with my google account...

i've had the phone for close to a month now, and starting to notice the power button is sticking now and again... it doesn't have the same 'click' that it used to feel when using it anyone else having power button issues? i've tried using some paper to clean down the sides in case something got...

shutter speed is basically how long you expose the shot for... 1/24000 is stupidly fast really easier to explain it with a photo short shutter speeds, like 1/1000, 1/2000, 1/4000 and so on, freeze any movement... like falling water, running people, whips, and so on... the faster the shutter...

haven't tried that yet... might have to give it a go sometime i'm at a burlesque shoot this weekend, so i'll take the phone along with me and see how it performs next to my 1DX lol, i know it won't stand up fully to it, but it'll be a fun comparison of the samsung 'raw' files vs a proper DSLR...

very nice Mr_PoPoP underexposed shadows is definitely the only use i can think of for that speed, unless i could wire the phone through to studio lighting, then i might get some use out of it just to sate my curiosity lol

1/24000 is STUPIDLY fast shutter speed... i honestly can't think of a single situation where 1/24000 would actually be useful, unless you were aiming to deliberately under expose everything else while taking a photo directly of the sun lol to give you an idea, 1/8000 setting can actually...

there's 2 files in the xposed mod folder... flash them in order top then bottom... then reboot and it should work fine :D

Noob_Boob i'm not entirely sure what you want to do with your status bar... i'm using the v1 flashed status bar here and modified it easily to fit how i like my display have you tried installing the 'flat style bar' xposed module to alter your task bar? that'll allow you to move things around...

i was looking at this as well, go back into TWRP and flash the original status bar from the mods folder anything after 1.5 mod breaks 'flat style indicators' Xposed module, so i had to go right back to the 1st status bar to get everything set up how i liked it easy to do and get working though :D

Noob_Boob honestly you'd be better off using an app like 'flat style' for Xposed... you can easily add seconds to your clock there and do tons more on your status bar with ease :)

i remember the "custom binary blocked" thing was a problem back on the S5, hadn't heard of it popping up on an S7 before though your best bet is to download the original firmware from sammobile and flash back to stock, then go from there... that's how we did it back on the S5 and managed to...

i kinda like the lock screen now... not using any widgets on it, but i much prefer some of the clock layouts they have took a while to grow on me though, and i'm still 50/50 on the notifications... but that might grow on me as well

the only way i've found to get access to tons of fonts is to install TEKHD's latest rom... that one has thousands of fonts built in and runs like a dream :D here's a quick screenshot of the fonts installed with the rom, the list is massive... more than enough for anyone :D Have to be rooted...

installed... stuck in the bootloop of single vibrate tripple vibrate now will wait the usual 15/20 minutes to see though, but phone is definitely getting hotter in the bootloop :/

clean download copied over, checked the hash... all correct installed and rebooting now... fingers crossed

rpham no i did a clean flash direct with V2 as i wanted a clean slate after testing out some different things if a redownload of the rom doesn't work, i'll install V1 again clean and then flash V2 over the top. bit useless doing it that way though as there isn't a link for anyone new to...

dule2303 is your phone getting stupidly hot after the bootloop as well? just picked mine up to connect the usb cable and copy over the new download and nearly dropped the thing from the heat

i'll try a redownload and try again, see what happens

just single vibrate, then three vibrates in a row... nothing else... it's now been over half an hour, and i went through everything exactly the same as i did V1 will be going back to that now

doing a clean flash with V2... stuck on the bootloop for ages now... been well over 20 minutes i did the 3 wipes and clean install from scratch... anyone else having a problem clean installing V2?

uk user here :D Got mine through Carphone Warehouse, bought outright as i'd previously been with EE and got fed up with their lies about upgrading my phone... so after a week of dealing with them, i went 'sod it' and cancelled my EE contract, went out to Carphone Warehouse and bought the phone...

screen timeout settings are in your standard display settings... nothing fancy from the rom needed there, can have it up to 10 minutes before the screen times out lol

yeah, it's a phone camera... but it's also an amazing camera with full control over iso, white balance, shutter speed and others... enough to keep most photographers themselves happy lol ok, it's never going to replace my DSLR, but having the ability to actually have control over my phone...
