You just need to flash the file through CWMR. But you need to be on a safe kernel first..Just ensure that. Another way is to flash through Mobile Odin Pro.

Have you tried to change the Network mode to WCDMA only. Am in India & for 3G only I keep the setting to WCDMA only, so that it does not go to EDGE/2G speeds.. But it may be different for your carrier. Wait for somebody from your location or with knowledge of the same to answer..

Gapps are ROM specific for many custom roms, as the developer has tweaked it to be compatible with his rom. I dont think it if you flash Gapp of one ROM with any other ROM it will work. What exactly do you have in mind.. Which Gapp & ROM do you need to flash?

I think you need to read instructions to the point before carrying them out. I had posted you the method for installation of PA which so far as I know is the correct one coming from any non AOSP based ROM. Pls. do follow the instructions. In case you are in doubt just ask for a reconfirmation...

It all depends on your taste. Some people are vegetarians some are non-vegetarians, while some are eggetarians... Point is each ROM has its good & bad. See what each ROM has to offer from their developers thread & select what you want. If you feel custom ROM is not your cup of tea & you prefer...

What I understand is you are going to claim warranty on the phone. Then why are you repartioning it??? You will lose about 3 GB of internal space, which itself may lead them to know that you have flashed. Its my understanding mate. Maybe someone else may have a better opinion. Just wait.

I think you missed the point there. The threads that you mention of Dr. Ketan & jeetu1981 mention not to use CWM.zip, i.e., not to use the same for ROOTING you phone, which is different from flashing a ROM. I hope you understand.

Although a well known fact & mentioned across the forum a lot but would suggest that the OP be edited to add that it is safe to flash this ROM from other Kernels like Hydracore besides CM/AOSP based kernels, to prevent repetetive questions on the same.

It seems that currently the game is not working on Gnote N7000, although Google Play shows its compatible. We will have to wait for Phosphor to fix the issue.
