It seems as though AT&T can only send updates over their network, which I don't have access to because I'm outside the US. If I change my firmware to U1, would I then receive updates OTA in the future directly from Samsung?

So do you mean that the different carrier versions of U1 firmware don't have carrier apps, but have files that make the phone more compatible with the carrier's network?

When I check out the U1 firmwares, I see different variants listed (ATT, TMB, etc.). As you said, the U1 firmware is unbranded, so why are there carrier-specific variants?

Hi everyone. When I view the info under Service Provider SW ver., I see a line that has three CSC codes separated by slashes. It says ATT/XAA/ATT. What does each code represent? If it matters, I have an unlocked AT&T S9 and my current carrier is outside the USA. Thanks!

I've done that in the past. All that occurred was a blinking red light. After leaving it to charge overnight, it still didn't turn on. However, today, I tried it again and it came on. It would only boot to the bootloader menu tho, and not the Google screen. I decided to put it in the freezer...

Nope...I tried that. All that happened was that the notification became dark blue, the notification's title became "chrome", and two icons (an "i" and a settings wheel) appeared in the notification.

I accidentally downloaded a file and couldn't find a way to stop it. When I open "Downloads", it just shows me files in my Downloads folder. Is there any way to cancel files that are being downloaded? Thanks.
