Thanks for the Mi2RAW suggestion, I'll check that out. I work with raws from my dslr but I don't know how badly I really need to have all my phone pictures shot as raw. I'll see how it goes

If my goal is to get CM or any other aosp based rom on the phone will nb1 be any more restrictive than MK2? I haven't found anything breaking the differences between MKx/Nxx down yet.

He was rooted at one point and then unrooted. Never any custom roms/recoveries. The phone was working after he unrooted it but for some reason will no longer pass the boot animation. He was on android 4.3 so does that only correspond to MK2? As far as I can tell it does.

Is it possible to make the camera2 apk that comes with cm11 work any faster? The focusing and capturing process are so slow compared to the stock LG app.

I'm currently just using App Settings to change the DPI for the modded stock camera.
