Thread Upgrade OnePlus 6T A10 Beta 1 to Release without wipe

Hi everyone, I believe it's possible to dirty flash the A10 Release on top of the beta pretty safely to avoid wipe. But I cannot find the download links to the ROM, I've got the OTA's, but not a full ROM? Any help would be appreciated :) Or can I as indicated just do what #4013 and #4015...

Post Does unlocking bootloader invalidate CTS?

Main thing I want is just Google Pay and certain games, Widevine I'm not terribly fussed about. Right now Google Pay is complaining after just unlocking bootloader, no other modifications Magisk does fix it, but I'm trying to be more hands off now, I don't want to have to install something...

Oh no. Unlocked bootloader, ran an update and got the attached images. Looks like unlocking the bootloader kills off Google Pay and CTS hartleyshc seems to be correct. Might have to lock it again

Post Does unlocking bootloader invalidate CTS?

Thanks guys! Super appreciate it! I remember seeing posts about people just unlocking bootloaders on other devices causing issues, I didn't think it would. Gives me a great peace of mind before I do something silly!

    Thread [AUSTRALIA] Telstra RUU

I've been trying to hunt down a RUU for Telstra to do a full test back to stock as I'll be giving away my HTC 10 to my sister shortly. Does anyone have one? Version doesn't really matter And secondarily to that, if I cannot find one, what should my next best option be? Change CID and flash...

Thread Does unlocking bootloader invalidate CTS?

I'm wanting to only unlock bootloader, but otherwise keep everything stock. Will just unlocking bootloader invalidate CTS checks and deny things like Android Pay? I also want to keep getting OTAs, keep stock recovery and remain rootless. I just know I'll eventually want to root, but i don't...

Just installing this now, haven't tested, but looking great so far! Thanks! :) Minor gripe: In the first post it is "Telstra AU" not "Telestra AU", small typo (it is fine in the installer). Also, thank you for supporting Telstra :D

Repartitioning is dangerous (data loss and bricking oh my), but just modifying the original partitions BEFORE installing the ROM should be ok(ROM devs/chef's do this ALL the time for their ROMs), this would mean modifying partition size, resigning the .zip and then flashing that bad boy on. Unfortunately the steps above won't fix your problem. You would be better off asking for help in the Moto Defy forums. But what I imagine has happened is that you have a GB Baseband and / or kernel installed and you're trying to load an ICS ROM and its failing. What I recommend you doing is...

Sure you copied the full thing across correctly? Upload the entire file to a host..... As the bit you gave me doesn't look correct, there is a space in there when there shouldn't be one...... You can use ADB to explorer to /system/etc and download the file directly. If your unfamiliar with...

Never use a copy and paste for the file in this operation. You only need to modify partially two lines (which you can copy and paste from the OP). Your just swapping two words around really. Its fairly easy, just follow the steps and it will work, it looks daunting at first if your not used to...

This guide shows you how to "flip" the points. Several ROMs have it differently preconfigured. But if this is your current situation: Emmc: External SD Card SDcard: Internal SD Card It will make it: Emmc: Internal SD Card SDcard: External SD Card And vice versa obviously (its a flip). This...

Its the same technique.... So remember this: So <label> doesn't really matter, but we may as well keep it sane (and have it the same name as the mount point)! And <mount_point> is where its mounted. Make sure the folder exists first though! leave <part> and <sysfs_path*> alone and it will...
